Yeah, it's been awhile since I've submitted an entry. It's aboot 6:30 in the morning over here.
I finished school a couple months ago and I'm currently on vacation. FINALLY! some time for myself and some well deserved rest before I go on the job hunt.
I'm currently over in the east coast in New York stayin in Queens with my homie I used to work with over in Santa Monica.

I just came back from a house club called Sin Sin. That place is mad poppin with some sick ass freestylers. The east coast definitely has some of the strongest freestyle dancers I've ever seen. And the bboys over here are mad sick wit it in terms of flave and style. They're some awesome and respectable people. They invited me to a upcoming house party goin down tomorrow/today. Hah

I love how convenient it is to get around here. I've been all over new york and I've only spent a little over $50 for the past two weeks. That's a weeks worth of gas money back at home. All I've been doing since I got here was exploring and meetin new people. I went all around manhattan my first few days. Checkin out times square, central park, and doin the tourist thing. Hah. I pissed off a few new yorkers when I was walkin with my cali-pace.

I battled over at jersey for an event called Cypher in da hood and i believe made it to quarter finals. They don't have one on one battles over back at cali so I decided to take my chances. Fuck tho man, 3 minute one on ones are killer, I'm used to having rounds because I know what I can throw down for every round. But for this I had to make sure I didn't use up all of my shit for the first battle. A bboy that was over at sin sin tonight told me I hed it down tho, whether I won or lost. The event was taking way longer than I expected so I left before I found out whether I made it to semis or not.

As much as I would love to continue talkin, I've gotta get some of my rest since it's almost seven. I was plannin on goin to staten island but I think imma just sleep in. Til next time
